The Right to Protest
Take it from Emma, these proposed anti-protest laws cannot be allowed to pass. In the time since the video was shot, the North Dakota bill giving drivers protection for running over protesters was defeated, but a similar bill has been introduced in Tennessee. These bills are coming fast and furious while we’re all distracted with other things, and they will pass into law without local engagement—many already have. We have to act now, and we have to act together.
