The guys from ARMS were kind enough to come to our benefit in NYC and record this for us. We bonded over our love for this song and Mark Kozelek and then we all crowded into the back room for them to lay this down — they simply couldn’t have been more chill or down to help and really made this night special for us. The folks at SPiN NYC were incredible and so accommodating in hosting and we had some surprise highlights when we got to auction off ping pong games with Aziz Ansari and Gossip Girl’s Kaylee DeFer to raise money for the programs in Uganda and Congo. The whole night came together through the amazing efforts of our friend Vaughn Massey and our incredible hosts, benefit committee and volunteers.

We want to thank everyone who made this happen, from Ryan Willard who is the master at being the master of ceremonies, to everyone who donated their time, talents, auction items and/or money, and a special thanks to Christina Guthrie for her generosity and for executive producing this episode… already thinking about next year’s gig.
