I arrived at the hotel where the guys were staying they told me that shooting in the hotel wasn’t going to work as it sounded terrible so why don’t we just go across the street and shoot it in the cafe. My first instinct was oh no we hadn’t checked it out with the owners and this could get tricky but as soon as we entered the cafe I remembered we are in Canada where people generally seem to be pretty cool about this kind of stuff.
The guys sat down at the end of the cafe and just started playing. People politely carried on with their lunch, and the people serving and the kind owners wanted to find out who the band was and were excited to hear them play. I was happy to hear they were covering one of my favorite Charlie Winston songs and after hearing their version I now have two favorites. Love these guys and love this song.
Thank you Rob Bozas, Adham Hunt, The Croissant Tree, Toronto.
